KANYE WEST RELEASES HIS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN AD – (10/13/2020)

With three weeks until the election, Kanye West has shared his first presidential campaign. In the 90 second spot, he stands in front of a black and white American Flag, he said, “We as a people will revive our nation’s commitment to faith, to what our constitution calls the free exercise of religion, including of course, prayer. Through prayer, faith can be restored.” 

He added,“We will build a stronger country by building stronger families. Families are the building blocks of society,” he adds as the commercial flashes to photos of a young Ye and his family. “By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people God intends us to be.”

LIL UZI VERT CALLS OUT KANYE, KANYE RESPONDS

In other news, Lil Uzi Vert mentioned Kanye in a recent video, saying, “On some real sh*t, Kanye West ain’t f*cking with me.It’s me. Like, me. Like, for real though. It’s really me. Like, I ain’t gonna lie. Like, when I be making them songs and those songs only go platinum once, I do that on purpose.”

Kanye responded by sharing the clip, and adding, “I love UZI. I be saying the same thing about Steve Jobs    I be feeling just like UZI.”

CARDI B GETS CALLED OUT BY SOCIAL MEDIA OVER BIRTHDAY PARTY – (10/13/2020)

Cardi B was called out by social media after celebrating her 28th birthday in Las Vegas, but when photos hit the Internet, people noticed that there wasn’t a mask in site. One person tweeted, “Soooooo nobody’s gonna talk about the fact that Cardi B had a HUGE birthday party for herself during a pandemic that’s killed over 200,000 people in the United States and nobody at the party was wearing a mask?????” 

Another person wrote, “So Cardi basically had a COVID party. Got it.”

SELENA GOMEZ SHARES ABOUT PANDEMIC DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY – (10/13/2020)

In an online discussion, Selena Gomez spoke openly about her anxiety and depression due to the pandemic. She held a Social Summit for her Rare Beauty company to celebrate World Mental Health Day.

She said, “In the beginning, I couldn’t deal with it that well. I kind of fell into a bit of depression and then I started going into a place where I was writing and being active; it forced me to have that time.”

She talked about loneliness, and said, “I’m afraid that’s gotten worse for people in this pandemic.” As for herself, she said, “I almost feel like I’ve become normalized in this situation that’s not normal.”

JUSTIN BIEBER TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE ON FRIDAY – (10/13/2020)

Justin Bieber’s next single, “Lonely,” will be released much sooner than expected. He made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (10-12) that the song with Benny Blanco, will arrive this Friday. Blanco previously teamed up with Bieber for the hit “Love Yourself” for the 2015 album Purpose.

Just last month, he collaboration with Chance the Rapper on “Holy,” which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. This will be the second single Bieber has released since this year’s Changes.

JONAS BROTHERS TO STAGE INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CONCERT – (10/13/2020)

The Jonas Brothers are hosting a virtual concert this winter and are asking fans to help. In addition to making setlist suggestions, they can create the artwork for the show that will appear on posters and merchandise. They told Billboard, “We always say we truly have the best fans and we’ve been looking out for opportunities to get them creatively involved.”

Winners will be notified next month and the proceeds will go to Feeding America.

Online concert-goers can also select their favorite camera angles and unlock digital keepsakes from the show to share on social media. The date for the show has not been announced.
