TAYLOR SWIFT, KATY PERRY TO PRESENT AT CMT MUSIC AWARDS – (10/19/2020)
Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Diplo, Brandi Carlile, Kelly Clarkson, Tanya Tucker, and Rob Thomas have all been announced as presenters at Wednesday’s (Oct. 21st) CMT Music Awards. The show will be hosted by Kane Brown, Ashley McBryde and actor Sarah Hyland. The CMT Music Awards airs live from Nashville at 8 p.m. ET on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land.
Performers include Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey, Luke Combs and Brooks & Dunn, Shania Twain, Morgan Wallen, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Ingrid Andress, Gabby Barrett, and Mickey Guyton.
‘HONEST THIEF’ NABS B.O. – (10/19/2020)
The box office got both good and bad news over the weekend. The good news was that New York will reopen movie theaters outside of New York City October 23rd. The bad news is, box office receipts are still faltering, and LA and San Francisco still haven’t signaled when they will reopen.
Open Road’s Liam Neeson action pic Honest Thief opened this weekend, with about $3.7 million for the weekend domestically, and a total running cume of $4.2 million.
Second in place was War With Grandpa at $2.5 million, and Tenet earned the third slot with $1.6 million.

BILLIE EILISH TEASES NEW MUSIC COMING NEXT MONTH – (10/19/2020)
Billie Eilish made a big reveal when she went online to answer some questions on Instagram this past weekend. When one person asked, “NEW SONG??????” Eilish responded in tiny type, “November.” She followed that with a shush emoji. She didn’t stop there, another fan asked for a color that matches the song. The 18-year-old’s response was a background color of burnt sienna. No other information about the new song came after that.
Eilish won in 3 categories at last week’s Billboard Music Awards.
CHADWICK BOSEMAN DIED WITHOUT A WILL – (10/19/2020)
Chadwick Boseman died without a will, but he was sure to protect his wife financially before he passed of terminal cancer. According to TMZ, Boseman’s wife Taylor Simone Ledward has filed probate docs in which she asks to be named administrator of Boseman’s estate. Taylor had to file the docs in probate court since the actor did not leave a will. Since Boseman died without a will and without children, Ledward will inherit all the assets of the probate estate.
According to the docs, Taylor gets nearly $1 million in personal property and assets.
CHRISSY TEIGEN SPEAKS OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER LOSING PREGNANCY – (10/19/2020)
Chrissy Teigen is letting fans know she’s “okay.” Teigen and her husband John Legend were expecting a third child together, but after a rough pregnancy, the model and cookbook author lost the baby. They documented their pregnancy and loss for fans, who went into mourning with them.
“We are quiet but we are okay,” Teigen, 34, wrote in a brief note on Instagram. “Love you all so much.”
She also shared a screengrab of tweets from Legend, including one in which he shared a link to his performance of “Never Break” at the Billboard Music Awards. “This is for Chrissy,” he wrote, adding, “I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together. Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling.”
He continued: “I wrote this song because I have faith that as long as we walk this earth, we will hold each other’s hands through every tear, through every up and down, through every test. We promised each other this on our wedding day seven years ago, and every challenge we’ve faced has made that promise more powerful, more resilient. Our love will remain. We will never break.”

CARDI B DELETES HER TWITTER AFTER FANS HARASS OFFSET – (10/19/2020)
Cardi B deleted her Twitter page yesterday (October 18th) after calling out fans who have been criticizing her for reconciling with husband Offset. Before deleting her page, she shut down rumors that her husband was abusive, saying, “Abusive? Girl, I’m the one that do the hitting and s**t talking. I’m just a crazy b***h one day I wanna smack a n***a and leave the next week I wanna his ride his face and get the c*m rag. Ya be trying to analyze us too much we are simply dysfunctional.”
She continued, “Imma make this very clear. Before I was a celeb I was crazy a** Cardi B. Same b**ch ya saw on TV and on IG (Instagram) talkin s**t and doing crazy s**t. Im still that a lil bit more calm now but still the same. I don’t know why ya expect something different now (sic). This ain’t Disney.”
