TAYLOR SWIFT IS ALREADY WORKING ON HER NEXT RE-RECORDING – (04/19/2021)

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is on top of the Billboard 200 and the singer is just getting started. 

Taylor Swift announced on Twitter Sunday (April 18th) that she has “been in the studio all day recording the next one.”

Swift isn’t just at the top of the charts in the U.S.  She has also shattered a record held by The Beatles in the U.K.  TMZ reports that the re-release of Fearless is the singer’s third No. 1 album in a row, following “folklore” and “evermore”. It only took her 259 days to achieve the milestone whereas The Beatles took 364 days.

  • The singer addressed the fan theory that her cat Meredith has been MIA.  The truth is, she’s just camera shy.  Swift said in an Instagram video, “She’s just a private little cat. She likes her business being kept to herself. She doesn’t like a camera shoved in her face, and who can blame her?”
  • A man was arrested Saturday (April 17th) night trying to sneak into Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment building in New York City. The New York Post reports that police arrived at the building just before 11p.m. after receiving a call about a man trying to gain entry when the front door was opened.  Police say suspect Hank Johnson was arrested without incident.

DEMI LOVATO SHAMES FROYO SPOT FOR ENCOURAGING DISORDERED EATING – (04/19/2021)

Demi Lovato wants to use social media to call out companies that encourage disordered eating. 

Lovato wrote in her Instagram Story Saturday (April 17th) that she finds it “extremely hard to order froyo from @thebigchlloffficial when you have to walk past tons of sugar free cookies/other diet foods before you get to the counter.”

The “Dancing with the Devil” singer asked the company to do better before adding, “I will be calling harmful messaging from brands or companies that perpetuate a society that not only enables but praises disordered eating.” 

Lovato has been open about struggling with binge eating and purging since she was nine-years-old. 

BRITNEY SPEARS IS ‘TOTALLY FINE’ – (04/19/2021)

Britney Spears says she is “totally fine.”

Fans have been concerned about the pop star’s well-being ever since the release of the New York Times documentary, Framing Britney Spears.  

In a Q&A on Instagram Friday (April 16th), the singer let her followers know how well she is doing. 

Spears said, “I’m totally fine. I’m extremely happy. I have a beautiful home, beautiful children.  I’m taking a break right now because I’m enjoying myself.”

WAHLBERG MATRIARCH DIES: The Wahlbergs are mourning the death of their matriarch Alma. She was 78. Mark, Donnie, his wife Jenny McCarthy and other family members hailed her kindness on social media.  “I’m so blessed to have been brought into this world by, raised by, taught by and set on my life’s path by, such an amazing woman. My mom Alma’s joy for life, love and people — combined with a pride in her humble beginnings and refusal to forget where she came from — undoubtedly shaped me into the man that I am,” Donnie shared. Alma was the mother of nine children Arthur, Paul, Jim, Robert, Donnie, Mark, Michelle, Debbie and Tracey Wahlberg. She shared them with Donald Wahlberg, who died in 2008. Their daughter Debbie died in 2003.

JEFFREE STAR SHARES UPDATE AFTER ACCIDENT: Jeffree Star is speaking out following a car crash in Wyoming on Friday. “This morning was one of the scariest moments of our entire lives,” the YouTube star, 35, wrote in an update shared on his Twitter and Instagram later that afternoon. “I’m so grateful to be here still. I’m in excruciating pain because part of my back is broken and I have vertebrae fractures on my spine.”

SELENA GOMEZ SHOWS OFF NEW TATTOO: Selena Gomez is supporting a new tattoo just under her collarbone. The Rare Beauty founder got a delicate cross tattoo from Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy.  A video of the singer sporting the new ink was posted to the Bang Bang Tattoo shop’s Instagram page on Thursday. 

LIAM PAYNE PAYS TRIBUTE TO PRINCE PHILLIP:  Liam Payne shared his portrait of the late Duke of Edinburgh on his Instagram Stories Saturday (April17th). The Former One Direction member wrote alongside the painting, “Rest in peace HRH Prince Philip. Small tribute to you, thank you for your service.” Prince Phillip, who died on April 9th at age 99, was laid to rest on Saturday, April 17th at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
