Katy Perry is set to be honored at the 10th anniversary of the DVF Awards, which recognizes women who use their resources to transform the lives of other women.

Katy will be receiving the Inspiration Award for “using her voice to advocate on behalf of many philanthropic causes,” including her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and as a champion for LGBTQ community.

Along with Katy, the awards will be honoring four other women – including Professor Anita Hill, who will be receiving the Lifetime Leadership Award.

“For our 10th anniversary of the DVF Awards, I am honored to recognize these extraordinary women who have shown courage, strength and leadership, and have shown us how to make this world a better world,” says fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, founder of the DVF awards.

Chloe x Halle are slated to perform at the show, which will take place April 11th at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

Ariana Grande celebrated the kickoff of her Sweetener world tour, which began last night in Albany, New York, with a new modification to one of her old tattoos.

The original tattoo was the word “always,” written in script. Grande got the word inked on her ribcage in June, prior to her breakup with Pete Davidson. Fans speculated at the time that the tattoo was Davidson’s handwriting.

Grande shared a photo of her new ink on Instagram early Sunday morning, showing a leafy branch surrounding her original “always” tat.

“post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork :),” she wrote, tagging the tattoo artist Mira Mariah, who has inked several other designs on Grande in the past. “not a cover up just evolvin  also, our show opens tomorrow. i love u and i’m so grateful. see u soon.”

On her Instagram Story, she posted a longer note about her tour, writing, “Literally never thought I’d be doing this. Six months ago, I didn’t think it [was] at all possible but I’m very grateful that it was and we did. Music is everything. Friendship is everything. Art is everything. I’m so proud of my incredible team…y’all are the best there is and I’m so grateful to create w/you.”

Khloe Kardashian is clearing rumors that she is unhappy with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s parenting style. The pair famously split after he got busted cheating on her (again!) with Kylie Jenner’s bestie, Jordyn Woods. (The first time, she took him back after he allegedly strayed with other women shortly before she gave birth to True in April).

The Revenge Body star hit up Twitter in the wake of reports that she’s “extremely upset” with Tristan.

“He is a good dad to her,” she responded to a fan on Twitter. “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that”.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is celebrated the world over for his strength. So it’s not a shock that the 1stArmored Division at Fort Bliss decided to name a tank after him.

They announced the move in a tweet: “‘If you smell what America’s Tank Division is cooking!’ Shoutout to the #IronSoldiers assigned to the @Blackhawk_SQDN for naming one of their tanks in homage to the @TheRock. Hopefully the ‘People’s Champ’ will see it and give you guys a shoutout and a retweet! #TuesdayThoughts”.

On Friday, he gave them a shout-out on Instagram, writing: “I’m sending a salute of respect & gratitude to the Blackhawk Squadron 1st Armored Division for the honor of naming their tank (the most advanced in the world) Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Heavy duty, bad a–, sexy AF and built to take care of business 😉 — but most importantly, thank you all for your service. Grateful to the bone.”

As of Monday, the image received 2 million+ likes and thousands of comments. Much support, but also some serious criticism from fans.

“Well I really like you as a person and everything but what is a tank meant for? If it is to take the lives of human beings and others then it is not admirable… I hope it won’t be used… May God bless you all ❤️ Peace and Love,” one Instagram user replied.

“That’s not something to be very proud of because it’ll be your name on that tank that’ll kill innocent people,” another claimed.
