‘HANNAH MONTANA’ MEMORABILIA GOING UP FOR AUCTION – (04/12/2019)

Julien’s Auctions, a private auction house in Culver City, California, known for its record-breaking memorabilia auctions, has announced that “Music Icons: The Hannah Montana Collection” will headline its upcoming “rock and roll auction event of the year.”

A slew of Hannah Montana memorabilia is going on the auction block May 18th, both online and live at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City.

The collection of props, costumes, tour items and more that were featured on the 2006-2008 seasons of the show is owned by Jason Gluck, who was in charge of the MileyWorld fan club while the show was on the air.

Among the items going on sale are outfits and props from Miley Cyrus’ debut concert tour Best of Both Worlds, costumes used on the show, an autographed boot, personal handwritten notes, jewelry, backstage passes, t-shirts and more. Most items are estimated to go for $300 to $700.

One of the priciest items is a pair of customized, tour-worn black high top Converses, decorated with iridescent glass that’s been hand-painted to depict a set of earphones and the name “Miley” in graffiti-style lettering, is expected to fetch between $2,000 and $4,000.

The most expensive item right now is an entire tour ensemble, including a customized black satin jacket that’s monogrammed “Miley,” a pink tan top and striped knee socks. That’s estimated to sell for $3,000 to $5,000.

The memorabilia is going on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square from May 13-17, and is free to the public. The auction on the 18th begins at 9 a.m. [ET]. Visit JuliensAuctions.com to find out how to bid.

MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY DEPART FROM ROYAL TRADITION WITH BIRTH PLAN – (04/12/2019)

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared their birth plan with the world and people are shook. While Kate Middleton and Princess Diana gave birth at St. Mary’s in London and then gamely posed for photos shortly after welcoming their kids, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are playing by their own rules.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” read a statement from Kensington Palace on Thursday. “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.”

In other words, no photo opp and not announcement until they’re good and ready.

The statement concludes, “The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

The 37-year-old will likely give birth at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, or their home at Frogmore Cottage, according to reports.
