TOM PARKER OF THE WANTED DIAGNOSED WITH INOPERABLE BRAIN TUMOR – (10/14/2020)

Tom Parker, former member of the boy band The Wanted has revealed he has an inoperable brain tumor.

Parker and his wife, actress Kelsey Hardwick, released a joint statement and said, “We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.”

The 32 year old is currently undergoing treatment and is focused on his family and health and said, “We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.”

DRAMA SURROUNDS DEMI LOVATO’S BREAKUP WITH MAX EHRICH – (10/14/2020)

The breakup between Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich is still pretty dramatic, at least for Ehrich. The actor has taken to social media to ask fans to stop harassing him online, and TMZ captured photos of him sulking at the beach where he proposed to Lovato.

While Ehrich claims he learned about their breakup while reading the tabloids on set, the Young and the Restless actor told TMZ he wants the best for Demi and hopes people can give them privacy.

Lovato is set to perform on The Billboard Music Awards show tonight (Oct. 14)  while Ehrich is releasing a new single on Friday (Oct. 16) about their relationship.

GAL GADOT ON THAT ‘IMAGINE’ VIDEO – (10/14/2020)

Gal Gadot sat down with Vanity Fair for an in-depth cover interview that touched on the unfortunate reception to her “Imagine” video.

Seven months after Gadot released that infamous “Imagine” video on Instagram, she said, with a “smile and shrug” via VF: “Sometimes, you know, you try and do a good deed and it’s just not the right good deed. I had nothing but good intentions and it came from the best place, and I just wanted to send light and love to the world.”

As the lockdowns increased in the U.S., Gadot, along with Amy Adams, Natalie Portman, James Marsden and several others joined her and sang—many thought awkwardly—John Lennon’s iconic 1971 hit in its entirety.

“We are in this together, we will get through it together,” she wrote in the caption at the time. “Let’s imagine together. Sing with us All love to you, from me and my dear friends.”

TWITTER REACTS TO ‘FURIOSA’ CASTING – (10/14/2020)

George Miller has recruited Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to star in Furiosa. The film is a prequel based on Charlize Theron’s character from 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road.

The 24-year-old Taylor-Joy is taking on the iconic version; Miller told The New York Times in May that he was looking for an actress in her 20s after deciding against using de-aging tech to allow the 44-year-old Theron to reprise her role.

Twitter was split. Many were thrilled with Taylor-Joy as the titular characters, others were concerned she couldn’t pull off a Theron-worthy performance. Wrote one critic: “I love Anya and Yahya Abdul so I will be definitely watching this but with low expectation due to the lack of Charlize, she really made Mad Max Fury Road even though the rest of the actors were good too it wouldn’t have worked without her.”

Others thought she could do it. Wrote one booster: “Okay I’m still skeptical we need a Furiosa prequel but Anya Taylor-Joy as young Furiosa is… very good”.
