SCOOTER BRAUN ‘FRUSTRATED’ WITH SCOTT BORCHETTA OVER TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC SITUATION – (11/18/2019)

Scooter Braun is reportedly unhappy with the way things are going with Taylor Swift’s music. The music producer is “frustrated” with how Big Machine Label’s Scott Borchetta is handling Swift and her music catalog.

“Scooter is frustrated because his name is being dragged in the mud,” a source told E! News. “He doesn’t run Big Machine or have operational control of company. He hasn’t taken part in these negotiations…This fight with Taylor is not something Scooter agrees with.”

Last week, Taylor shared that she was hoping to perform a medley of her hits at the upcoming 2019 American Music Awards, but claimed that Scooter and Scott are banning her from performing her music.

Big Machine Label then released a statement, discrediting Taylor’s claims, which her rep later slammed. The insider said Scooter has been trying to reach Taylor, but she hasn’t returned his calls. Scooter’s Nashville office was shut Friday following threats allegedly sparked by Swift’s claims. Braun’s company, Ithaca Holdings, was deluged with calls after Taylor asked her fans, “Please let Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun know how you feel about this.”

Meanwhile, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elizabeth Warren are defending Swift.

Representative Ocasio-Cortez spoke out on Twitter Friday regarding Swift’s situation. “Private equity groups’ predatory practices actively hurt millions of Americans,” she tweeted. “Their leveraged buyouts have destroyed the lives of retail workers across the country, scrapping 1+ million jobs. Now they’re holding @taylorswift13’s own music hostage. They need to be reigned in.”

Presidential candidate Warren joined in on Saturday, tweeting that Swift is “one of many whose work has been threatened by a private equity firm,” connecting it to her presidential campaign. “They’re gobbling up more and more of our economy, costing jobs and crushing entire industries,” Warren wrote. “It’s time to rein in private equity firms – and I’ve got a plan for that.” The last line of Warrens’ tweet is her unofficial campaign slogan, reflecting her many policy positions.

NOAH CYRUS STOPS CONCERT MID-PERFORMANCE DUE TO ILLNESS – (11/18/2019)

Noah Cyrus stopped her performance on Saturday due to illness.

After getting off stage, the 19-year-old shared a photo of herself wearing an oxygen mask being treated by EMTs at the Corona Capital music festival in Mexico City.

“I had to run off and throw up before my last song,” she wrote on Instagram. “Sorry I couldn’t finish my set but thanks so much @coronacapital. You guys were so loud….. #f–kyounoah ammmiiiriiiteeee”.

Among fans well wishes was Justin Bieber. “Hope ur okay. Check ur dm,” he replied to her Instagram post.

Noah shared the photo Bieber messaged her of the two when they were younger. “Ope suddenly I’m better thanks king,” Cyrus wrote over the screenshot of his direct message.

Cyrus poked fun at her sudden sickness by sharing a photo taken during her performance and adding, “before she yacked,” with three throwing up emojis.

The singer seems to have recovered, later sharing a photo of her and her team riding in a car. Cyrus does not have any other upcoming tour dates.

Noah’s health scare comes just days after her older sister Miley underwent vocal cord surgery. Miley’s latest procedure was unrelated to the tonsil surgery that she had to undergo last month after suffering from tonsillitis. She will reportedly have to remain silent for weeks while she recovers. She’s also gone silent on social media; Miley hasn’t posted anything on her Instagram account since she came home from the hospital last weekend.
