Celebrity Scoop – 12/05/2018

More than four months after she was hospitalized for an overdose, Demi Lovato has posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a robe after a workout.

“Sweaty, messy jiu jitsu hair,” the 26-year-old wrote to her 70.6 million followers with the hashtag #nevergiveup.

Lovato has been a longtime fan of the sport, often posting about her workouts and jiu-jitsu accomplishments on social media.Last year, she proudly shared the news that she was a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the second of seven levels.

Lovato hasn’t been active on social media lately, aside from a photo she posted last month from her voting booth, a “Happy Thanksgiving” message on her Instagram story and an Instagram comment defending her team against someone who called them money-hungry.

Other than that, her Lovatics have done her Twitter talking, defending the singer against haters who commented negatively about post-rehab photos of Lovato.

After her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson posted Monday about the online bullying he’s experienced, Ariana Grande took to her Instagram Story to defend him.

“I know u already know this but i feel i need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others,” she wrote. “I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. i care deeply about pete and his health.”

She added, “I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet. i’ve learned thru my own mistakes not to be reactive on socials so i do understand. but you truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever. regardless of what they choose to display on social media or how they may appear in public. i can promise u that.”

Ariana concluded by saying she “will always have irrevocable love” for Pete, adding, “if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.”

Pete posted on Instagram Monday about “getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months” during his time with Ariana and in the wake of their split.

The SNL star, who was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, wrote, “No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this.”

Ariana called off her four-month engagement to Davidson in October.

Cardi B has revealed that her and Offset are no longer together. In a post uploaded to Instagram, while she did not disclose what ended things, Cardi said that she and Offset are really good friends, but they have fallen out of love.

The rapper told fans early Wednesday morning (December 5th), “So, everybody been bugging me and everything. And you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. And, we’re really good friends and we’re really good business partners and he’s always someone that I run to, to talk to. And, we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like, I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

Offset responded to the video and said, “Yall won.”

In other Cardi news, according to Rap-Up, the rapper was in Miami earlier this week shooting the video for City Girls’ record, “Twerk.” In the clip, the ladies took over a yacht, while spraying champagne at their wild boat party. Cardi was painted as a tiger with body paint, while City Girls’ Yung Miami wore zebra stripes.

No word on when the video will drop just yet.

KIM KARDASHIAN EXPLAINS CHRISTMAS CARD DEMISE: Kim Kardashian is dishing on the KarJenner’s annual Christmas Card tradition, and why the clan decided to forgo the shoot this year. She said that the “dramatic” fall out from last year’s shoot ended things. As fans recall, Kim is still getting heat for telling her sister Kourtney (who was having trouble scheduling the shoot) that no one would care if she was in it because she was the “least interesting to look at.” Will you miss the card this year?
