CHARLIE PUTH HAS BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR AN OSCAR – (02/10/2021)

Charlie Puth has been shortlisted for an Oscar. 

According to Stereogum, the singer’s “Free” from Netflix’s The One And Only Ivan is one of fifteen songs likely to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. 

Christina Agulera’s “Loyal Brave Tue” from Mulan, Janelle Monáe’s “Turntables” from All In: The Fight For Democracy, Mary J. Blige’s “See What You’ve Done” from Belly Of The Beast, and John Legend’s “Never Break” from Giving Voice, also made the list. 

The Academy Awards won’t reveal their nominees until after the Gold Globes’ ceremony on February 28th. This year’s Oscars ceremony is scheduled to take place April 25.

THE REAL REASON ASHLEY BENSON AND G-EAZY SPLIT – (02/10/2021)

Ashley Benson and G-Eazy’s relationship went downhill fast, a source tells Us Weekly. “Ashley and G-Eazy fell hard for each other fast. Everything moved very quickly, and they were obsessed with each other. Recently things took a hard turn for the worse,” the insider tells Us of the pair, who were first linked in May 2020.

They were arguing all the time and it wasn’t good for either of them,” the source adds. “Ashley is the one who ended things.”

Eazy previously spoke very highly of Benson, telling ET: “Obviously, she’s a great actress, but, you know, getting to work with her and putting her in front of a microphone and watching her sing so effortlessly, she has this very special tone of voice and texture and something that’s very innate to her given that’s not her first job or what she’s known for.”

JENNIFER LOPEZ AND ALEX RODRIGUEZ WENT TO COUPLE’S THERAPY – (02/10/2021)

Jennifer Lopez is sporting a new look on the cover of Allure magazine. 

The 51-year-old singer is seen on the March cover with what is described by her longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton as a “90s-inspired wet look crop.” According to Page Six Style, he shared an image on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “So we changed it up for @allure cover shoot.”

During her interview with the magazine, Lopez revealed that she went to couple’s therapy with fiancé Alex Rodriguez during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

She said, “We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”

The revelation comes just days after Rodriguez was romantically linked to Bravo personality Madison LeCroy

DID JODIE FOSTER SET SHAILENE WOODLEY UP? Fans theorize that Jodie Foster set Shailene Woodley up with her rumored fiancé, Aaron Rodgers. The pair co-star in The Mauritanian, and Foster and Rodgers are pals. (Us)

KIM KARDASHIAN’S BFF DEFENDS NORTH AGAINST CLAIMS OF FRAUD – (02/10/2021)

Fans questioned the legitimacy of a Bob-Ross-style painting down by Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West, who is 7. But Kim’s BFF Tracy Romulus, whose daughter Ryan is also besties with North, says the kids take an art class together, where they’re given pro tips. 

She said on IG Story: “Both girls are in art class together and learning oil painting techniques from an instructor. They spend weeks at a time on a single painting and are incredibly proud of themselves once they complete a project.”

Tracy also said that the doubters are missing out: “It’s people like you who keep a children [sic] from dreaming big or reaching their fullest potential.”

BTS is set to perform for a special edition of MTV Unplugged

MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS will put it’s own spin on the typical Unplugged format.  Performing from Seoul, South Korea, BTS offers their fans a front-row seat to never-before-seen versions of the group’s most career-defining hits and songs from their latest album BE (Essential Edition), in intimate settings. 

The worldwide music event will air Tuesday, February 23rd at 9PM ET exclusively on MTV in the US and will air around the world beginning February 23.
