HALSEY & G-EAZY SPLIT AFTER ONE YEAR OF DATING – (07/04/2018)

Halsey has announced that she and her boyfriend of one year, G-Eazy, are “taking some time apart.”

The 23-yearold singer posted on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, writing, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart.”

“I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time,” she added.

Halsey recently deleted many of her photos with G-Eazy from her official Instagram page, and fans began to speculate that the two had split.

The pair last walked the red carpet together just a few weeks ago.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE DROPS ‘SOULMATE’ – (07/04/2018)

Justin Timberlake surprised fans with a brand new song called “SoulMate” on Tuesday.

The smooth track follows the release of Justin’s latest studio album, Man Of The Woods, which was released in February. This brand new song is not included on his latest album.

Justin kicked off the European leg of his Man Of The Woods tour on Tuesday in Paris, France.

Ahead of the tour, Justin posted an Instagram video of himself standing on a rooftop terrace in Paris, looking out at the skyline, and pointing out an inflatable baby pool that he’s brought out for his son Silas to use. Then, he takes out his phone and plays the first part of the song, which begins with him proclaiming, “Summer starts now.”

According to Vulture, “SoulMate” was recorded last week in the Bahamas with Drake’s favorite producer/songwriter team, Nineteen85 and James Fauntleroy, and others.

ZAYN MALIK TEASES NEW MUSIC IS ON THE WAY – (07/04/2018)

Zayn Malik took to Twitter to tease that he’s hard at work on his new album.

“Album is on the way, Got a few surprises for you too .. here’s a taster,” Zayn tweeted along with a cover of Beyoncé’s song “Me, Myself, and I.”

Zayn’s debut album Mind of Mine was released in 2016

recently confirmed that he has finished his second album. “It’s a bit different to my last record in terms of it’s matured, [I’ve] got a bit older,” he said. “I didn’t know what was going on for a while. I was just putting out a record and not really being as prominent as I wanted to be.”

While a tracklist for the record has yet to be confirmed, Malik has released four tracks that could appear on the new album – “Entertainer,” “Let Me,” PartyNextDoor collaboration “Still Got Time,” and the Sia-featuring “Dusk Till Dawn.”

CARLY RAE JEPSEN AND JACK ANTONOFF BACK IN THE STUDIO TOGETHER – (07/04/2018)

Longtime collaborators and pals Carly Rae Jepsen and Jack Antonoff have reunited.

Jepsen posted a photo late on July 1st on Instagram of the duo laughing in the studio, captioning it, “@jackantonoff and I having absolutely no fun in the studio tonight.”

Antonoff has helped write and produce songs for Jepsen in past; most notably, he worked on the singer’s 2015 album EMOTION, although his songs didn’t make the tracklist.

Returning the favor, Jepsen recorded vocals for the re-imagined version of the Bleachers’ song “Shadow,” off their 2015 album Terrible Thrills Vol. 2.

AMBER HEARD GETS DRAGGED FOR RACIALLY-CHARGED TWEET ABOUT ICE – (07/04/2018)

Amber Heard hit up Twitter early Tuesday, writing, “Just heard there’s an ICE checkpoint in [H]ollywood, a few blocks from where I live. Everyone better give their housekeepers, nannies and landscapers a ride home tonight.”

Her message was not well-received. One person responded, “I can see where you were going but somewhere along the way you took a wrong turn. Delete this sis.” Others instructed her to “get woke,” or mocked her “white liberal guilt.” 

She then fired off another tweet, writing, “Checkpoints on your home streets…. Is this the ‘great’ America we’re aiming for? Raids, fences and police-state like checkpoints don’t feel like the ‘land of the free’ our immigrant ancestors built.”

ED SHEERAN BREAKS BILLBOARD RECORD: Ed Sheeran now holds a “Perfect” chart record. The singer has become the first artist to have two No. 1 songs on the Billboard Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart that each remained at the top for at least 20 weeks. “Perfect” tops the chart for a 20th week, following “Shape of You,” which was No. 1 for 24 weeks. “Shape of You” had the second-longest reign on the Adult Contemporary chart in its 57-year history, beat only by 2003’s “Drift Away” by Uncle Kracker ft.
