MAREN MORRIS AND SUGARLAND SURPRISE FANS AT TAYLOR SWIFT’S FINAL U.S. ‘REPUTATION’ TOUR DATES – (10/08/2018)

Taylor Swift had plenty of surprises in store this weekend for the last two U.S. dates on her reputation Stadium Tour.

Friday night in Dallas, Maren Morris joined Taylor to do sing her pop hit, “The Middle.” “Did we just become best friends?” Maren asked on Instagram, along with a photo of the two rehearsing.

“Got to play my hometown stadium with this woman. Thank you Taylor Swift. Congratulations on a mind-blowing tour.” Later, Maren also posted a performance clip of the two from the concert.

On Saturday, Taylor brought out Sugarland for the first-ever live performance of “Babe,” their current country hit together.

“‘Babe’ live for the first time tonight in Dallas!!!!” Taylor shared on her socials, along with a clip of their collaboration. “THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN.”

Taylor and Train singer Pat Monahan co-wrote “Babe” several years ago, and Sugarland recorded it for their current album.

Later this month, Taylor takes the reputation Stadium Tour to Australia, before heading to New Zealand and Japan; on Tuesday night, she’ll open the American Music Awards, airing live on ABC.

ARIANA GRANDE EXPLAINS WHY THERE’S A CRIB IN HER APARTMENT – (10/08/2018)

Ariana Grande posted a photo and fans immediately noticed something in the background that caused a frenzy.

The 25-year-old entertainer posted a photo with what appears to be an infant’s crib or playpen in the background. Fans quickly began asking what was in the background.

“Why is there a baby crib in the back tho?” one fan wrote, to which Ariana jokingly responded, “[My] secret child duh.”

Even Katy Perry was confused and wrote, “WHAT ARE YOU COOKING IN THE CRIB.”

Then, Ariana decided to explain why there’s a play pen in the background. “That’s Piggy Smalls’ play pen in the background. The red is to keep [the pig] warm,” she wrote. Ariana and Pete Davidson recently adopted the pet pig together.

HFPA APOLOGIZES TO DREW BARRYMORE: The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (they put on the Golden Globes) is apologizing to Drew Barrymore for a bizarre EgyptAir magazine interview that went viral last week. The piece included observations about her “failed relationships” and misquotes about her approach to parenting. It was written by former association prez Aida-Takla-Reilly. “Ms. Barrymore has been interviewed by HFPA members many times and we always appreciate her willingness to speak to us,” they said in a statement. “As an organization comprised of journalists, the HFPA expects its members to uphold the highest degree of integrity in their journalistic activities. Based on our preliminary investigation, we understand that parts of the article in question were not written by Dr. Takla-O’Reilly and that other portions of the article may have come from other sources. We regret any distress caused to Ms. Barrymore by this article.”

KELLY CLARKSON JOINING JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IN THE NEW ‘TROLLS’ MOVIE: Kelly Clarkson has joined the cast of Trolls World Tour, the upcoming sequel to the hit animated film Trolls. Kelly will voice a character named Delta Dawn, the mayor of the Country Trolls. Her character’s name was evidently inspired by the song of the same name, which was a huge country hit for Tanya Tucker in 1972, and a No. 1 pop hit for Helen Reddy in 1973. Kelly will sing an original song in the Trolls sequel, which will see the return of the original Trolls voice cast, including Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and James Corden. Newcomers include Sam Rockwell, Anthony Ramos and Chance the Rapper. Trolls World Tour will arrive in theaters April 17, 2020. This is the second upcoming animated movie project for Kelly; she’s also voicing a character in the Uglydolls movie.
