REPORT: GEORGE CLOONEY WAS THROWN 20 FEET IN SCOOTER ACCIDENT – (07/11/2018)
Close call! George Clooney was doing 60 m.p.h when his scooter hit a car whose driver suddenly pulled in front of him, TMZ reports. The actor was then thrown from his scooter 20 feet in the air, striking the car’s windshield and causing it to shatter.
Clooney’s helmet was also broken by the force of the impact. The 57-year-old was taken to a hospital, treated and released. He did not break any bones or suffer any serious injuries, though he did complain of a bruised pelvis and received an MRI.
His wife Amal reportedly collected him at the hospital. The pair are staying in Olbia on the island of Sardinia with their twins.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TO BROADCAST ENGLAND’S WORLD CUP MATCH AT O2 ARENA BEFORE LONDON SHOW – (07/11/2018)
Justin Timberlake surprised London fans with an exciting announcement Tuesday on his Instagram. Before his show Wednesday night, the O2 arena will open its doors early “for the first time ever” and welcome JT fans to watch the England vs. Croatia semifinal World Cup match on the arena’s big screens.
“I’ve been thinking,” he started, “We had a crazy show on Monday and we’ve got another one coming up on Wednesday. There is also another very important thing happening on Wednesday,” he said referencing the game.
Timberlake continued, “We’re gonna watch this together, and you know what? It’s coming home.” England has only won the World Cup one time, back in 1966. Now, they’re one game away from the finals.
CAMILA CABELLO DEBUTS HAVANA-INSPIRED MAKEUP LINE WITH L’OREAL – (07/11/2018)
Camila Cabello has launched a new line of makeup with L’Oreal Paris called Havana, after her hit song and her birthplace. The 14-piece collection includes shimmery eye shadows, brow products, liquid eyeliner, lip gloss and L’Oreal’s first liquid bronzer. All retail for $15 and under.
“I am so excited! The process of getting to build a line from the ground up and getting to pick out the shades, and the fragrance of the lip glosses, and the packaging design has been an incredible experience,” the singer tells ELLE.com.
She adds, “I just knew I wanted to make a makeup line that was natural. If I’m not on stage or doing an award show performance, I really don’t like wearing a lot of makeup. I feel like this line is really an expression of what I would wear. It’s glowy and simple.”
Camila admits she used to feel pressure to look a certain way and reveals some of her biggest beauty insecurities she’s had to overcome.
“I could name a lot of really dumb ones,” she says. “I don’t like the right side of my face, I feel like my face looks different on the right side. Also my teeth – I have some really crooked teeth on the bottom. There’s one [tooth] that just juts out when I smile which is not fun. But, whatever, it adds character!”
Camilla began her collaboration with L’Oréal as the face of the brand in 2017. She becomes the brand’s first global spokeswoman to collaborate on products.
ALESSIA CARA RELEASES NEW SONG, ‘A LITTLE MORE,’ IN HONOR OF HER BIRTHDAY – (07/11/2018)
Alessia Cara is giving fans a little present in honor of her birthday today. The singer announced on Instagram that she’ll be released a new song, called “A Little More,” to celebrate turning 22.
“I made a song in my basement,” she writes. “And thought I’d release it tomorrow as a small gift for my birthday. ‘a little more’ – written & produced by me. 12AM EST.”
The song follows the release of “Growing Pains,” the first single off Alessia’s upcoming sophomore album, The Pains of Growing.
ED SHEERAN, HALSEY AND KHALID JOIN FORCES FOR NEW BENNY BLANCO-PRODUCED TRACK – (07/11/2018)
Producer Benny Blanco has enlisted Ed Sheeran, Halsey and Khalid to collaborate on a brand new track coming soon. The song, a duet between Halsey and Khalid, was reportedly co-written by Ed.
Benny posted a snippet of the song on Instagram and tagged all three artists. In the caption, he wrote, “i’m gonna put this song out in a few days…” He also teased a clip on Twitter, which both Halsey and Khalid retweeted.
On Monday, Benny – who’s produced songs for Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Cardi B, Kesha and more – announced that he’d be releasing some new tracks under his own name.
“i have decided to release some songs as benny blanco,” he wrote. “Don’t worry i wont be singing on them… i got all my friends to sing em… hope u like them… and if u dont i dont care cuz i do.”
IMAGINE DRAGONS LEADS ‘BILLBOARD’ MID-YEAR ROCK CHARTS – (07/11/2018)
Imagine Dragons leads almost every category in Billboard‘s just-published lists of the highest-selling rock albums and songs of 2018 so far. The survey breaks down the biggest records based on both traditional sales and streaming-equivalent units, as well as digital single-song sales and streams with and without video.
The Las Vegas-based Imagine Dragons tops every category except traditional album sales, where the band sits at Number Two with its 2017 album Evolve. Overall, rock still relies heavily on traditional album sales as opposed to streaming, with acts like Five Finger Death Punch, Metallica and Breaking Benjamin all placing on the Top 10 Selling Rock Albums chart, which is solely traditional.
Some of the biggest songs on the survey include Bad Wolves‘ cover of the Cranberries‘ “Zombie,” Disturbed‘s remake of Simon & Garfunkel‘s “The Sound Of Silence” and Skillet‘s “Monster.”
But it was Imagine Dragons again who took the crown, with the top two selling digital rock songs being that band’s “Whatever It Takes” and “Thunder.” The latter and “Believer” also scored in the On-Demand Rock Song Streams, On-Demand Rock Audio Streams and On-Demand Rock Video Streams lists.

JUSTIN BIEBER, HAILEY BALDWIN BREAKS SILENCE ON ENGAGEMENT – (07/10/2018)
Justin Bieber has confirmed his engagement to Hailey Baldwin. The 24-year-old singer shared new photos of him and Hailey, 21, and he wrote a touching note in which he called his fiancée the love of his life.
“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!” Justin wrote on Instagram. “So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first.
Hailey then took to her Twitter to express her excitement and gratefulness for the next step for the couple.
“Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with! No words could ever express my gratitude. ❤️,” Hailey wrote.
She also commented on Justin’s post about their engagement, responding to their friend Ryan Good’s suggestion that Justin grow his mustache again. “Grow the mustache back for the wedding,” Ryan wrote. Hailey quickly responded, “don’t u dare give him that idea you lunatic”
TMZ broke the news that Justin had popped the question Saturday night at an unnamed resort in the Bahamas, after which Justin’s parents quickly seemed to confirm that there was big news in the family.
His dad Jeremy wrote on Instagram Sunday, “Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!” Mom Pattie Mallette tweeted Saturday, “Love Love Love Love Love Love Love.”
Justin, 24, and 21-year-old Hailey – a model and daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin – recently rekindled their relationship after previously being linked as far back as 2014.
HALSEY CLARIFIES MACHINE GUN KELLY DATING RUMORS AFTER G-EAZY SPLIT – (07/10/2018)
There are a lot of rumors surrounding Halsey’s love life since it was announced that she and G-Eazy were “taking some time off” from their relationship.
Now, Halsey has taken to her Twitter account to dispel any rumors that she’s rebounding with Machine Gun Kelly after a photo of the pair at a beach location emerged on Twitter.
“I’m not at the beach. I’m on tour. Alone. Slow news week I guess,” Halsey wrote on her Twitter account. “I’m not with anybody. That photo is 2 years old. Everyone mind they damn business.”
The photo in question appears to have been originally posted by Machine Gun Kelly back in March of 2017.
CHARLIE PUTH RELEASES ‘THE WAY I AM’ VIDEO – (07/10/2018)
Just before he kicks off his Honda Civic Tour, Charlie Puth has released a new video for his song “The Way I Am.”
The clip finds Charlie at a bustling house party, but he keeps to himself as the party-goers move at hyper-speed around him. He laments at feeling like he doesn’t fit in, singing, “Everybody’s trying to be famous, and I’m just trying to find a place to hide.” He also longs to make a connection, singing, “‘Cause all I wanna do is just hold somebody, but no one ever wants to get to know somebody.”
The chorus has him realizing he can’t control what people think of him. “I’mma tell ‘em all/I’mma tell ‘em all/That you can either hate me or love me/But that’s just the way I am,” the lyrics say.
In the end, as the party comes to a close, he finally makes a connection with a pretty brunette. She locks eyes with him and he smiles in surprise.
Charlie’s headlining Honda Civic Tour kicks off July 13th in Boston and runs through September 1st.
BAZZI DROPS SURPRISE TRACK ‘FTC’ – (07/10/2018)
Singer-songwriter-producer Bazzi surprised fans last week by dropping an unplanned video for “FTC” – a newly released candid piano ballad.
The release follows Bazzi’s cinematic video for “Beautiful,” which Billboard called “as epic as the song’s thematic elements themselves.” The follow-up single to this year’s breakthrough RIAA-certified Platinum smash “Mine,” “Beautiful” boasts over 72 million streams and was recently featured as a global Snapchat Lens.
Bazzi was most recently named an “Artist You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone and placed No. 6 on their “31 Best Things We Saw” at Bonnaroo following his debut festival performance.
He embarked on his sold out headline COSMIC Tour last week, with new shows added in Portland, Chicago and more due to overwhelming demand.
The COSMIC Tour arrives on the heels of his performances as special guest on Camila Cabello’s sold out Never Be The Same North American tour and the release of his debut album COSMIC, which saw a Top 15 debut on the Billboard 200 and boasts over 853 million streams worldwide to date.
Bazzi has also been announced as special guest on the European leg of Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods Tour, kicking off August 13th in Berlin.
NOAH CYRUS ANNOUNCES FIRST HEADLINING CONCERT TOUR – (07/10/2018)
Noah Cyrus announced plans Monday for her first headlining, North American concert tour. The Good Cry Tour is set to kick off September 22nd in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It is scheduled to wrap in Portland, Oregon, on October 24th. Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale to the general public Friday.
“I’ve been waiting for such a long time to travel and see my fans who have been supporting me the last couple of years. I can’t wait for them to come experience this sad girl’s dream world. We’re either gonna dance or cry the night away,” Cyrus said in a statement.
Noah’s debut album is due out this fall. Her hit singles include “Again,” “Labrinth – Make Me (Cry)” and “Stay Together.”
Cyrus, 18, opened for Katy Perry on her U.S. tour last year and she recently sold out her first Los Angeles headline show at the Troubadour. She also took the stage at the past two editions of the Coachella music festival.
Cyrus is the younger sister of Miley Cyrus and the daughter of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus.
DRAKE BREAKS HISTORIC BILLBOARD RECORD SET BY THE BEATLES: Drake has made Billboard Hot 100 history with his new album Scorpion, which currently has seven tracks in the top 10. “Nice for What” has returned to the top spot on the chart, making it the only song to ever hit No. 1 four times in the chart’s history. “Nonstop,” “Gods Plan,” “In My Feelings,” “I’m Upset,” “Emotionless,” and “Don’t Matter To Me” have also made the top 10. This ups Drake’s career count to 31 Hot 100 top 10′s, passing Michael Jackson for the most among male soloists. Drake surpasses The Beatles’ 54-year-old record for the most simultaneous Hot 100 top 10’s and breaks the record for the most simultaneous top 10 debuts. Scorpion is also “the first album to be streamed over 1 billion times in a week,” across multiple platforms. Additionally, Scorpion emerges as the No. 1 release on the Billboard Top 200, marking his eighth consecutive No. 1 bow on the respective chart.

JUSTIN BIEBER ENGAGED TO HAILEY BALDWIN? – (07/09/2018)
Are Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin engaged? A new report has emerged suggesting Justin popped the question over the weekend.
TMZ is reporting that on Saturday night, two women claim to have seen the couple on the dance floor at a restaurant inside a resort in the Bahamas. They were salsa dancing as Justin’s security told everyone inside the eatery to put their phones away to witness a special moment.
Justin then apparently proposed.
Justin and Hailey have been inseparable for weeks, and were first linked back together in early June.
Justin and Hailey dated in the past, and he even mentioned marrying her in a 2015 interview where he said, “What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged.”
Social media postings popped up over the weekend saying the pair were spotted in the Bahamas. As reports surfaced that Bieber, 24, had popped the question to the 21-year-old Baldwin during the trip, his father, Jeremy Bieber, set fans to wondering with his own social media post.
“@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!,” the caption on a photo showing the younger Bieber at the beach read on his father’s official Instagram account.
On Saturday the Bieb’s mom, Pattie Mallette, tweeted “Love Love Love Love Love Love Love” with no further explanation.
Baldwin’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin, tweeted Sunday that he and her mother, his wife, Kennya, “Always pray 4 God’s will !!”
“He is moving in the hearts of JB & HB,” the elder Baldwin said in the tweet, which also tagged Bieber’s parents to congratulate them. “Let’s all pray for His will to be done. Love you 2 so much!!! #Godstiming #bestisyettocome.”
The tweet was quickly deleted.
Twitter lit up with talk of his engagement, with some noting the similarities between it and the recent engagement of Ariana Grande to actor Pete Davidson after weeks of dating.
Bieber and Grande share the same manager, Scooter Braun.
After a fan criticized Braun in a now deleted tweet, Ariana reportedly responded to the fan, “You do realize we are human beings who love and have lives …… right …. ? And that Scooter [Braun] is a wonderful human being too who cares first [and] foremost [about] our health and happiness?” “Love is lit. Sh*t happens. I hope to God it happens to you too. [You] deserve it,” she added.
‘ANT-MAN AND THE WASP’ BUZZES TO TOP OF B.O. WITH $161M – (07/09/2018)
Ant-Man and the Wasp flew into first place at the box office, bringing in $161 million total, with $76 million of that coming from North America.
Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly and marks the 20thconsecutive time a Marvel film opened at No. 1 at the box office. Still, it wasn’t quite what observers were expecting; projections had the opener in North America pegged at between $80 million and $85 million. It’s still well above the original Ant-Man’s opening of $57 million.
Disney-Pixar’s Incredibles 2 is also still killing it, bringing in $29 million domestically, for a four-week haul of $772.2 million worldwide. Universal and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom crossed the $1 billion mark.
